Where has He been?

It seems like every time I want to start something I have some major happening in my life. These past few weeks have been no exception. In October my daughter went to the doctor about a cough. She mentioned a lump under her arm and the cough was forgotten. About the same time, I was in pain and went to the doctor with what I suspected was a hernia. After an exam, my doctor could not find a hernia and wanted tests run to rule out cancer. In the middle of the month, my daughter had the lump removed and checked. We praise God that it was benign.
My journey is taking a little longer. After a sonogram, no cancer was found but I was still experiencing a lot pf pain. My doctor sent me to a Urologist to see if they could figure out what was wrong. After lots of coughing, the hernia I had suspected from the beginning was found. Now I am waiting to see a surgeon. I praise God that it was not cancer, but only a hernia. This has been a strange year. I have a follow up next week with the liver specialist because they still have not been able to figure out why my liver enzymes are all over the map.
On the positive side. Between my change of diet and weight training, I have brought my cholesterol down to good numbers and am only about three pounds from my goal weight. I feel stronger physically which helps in every aspect of life. Please continue to lift me and my family up in prayer as we seek to live By His Grace.
